Raised in the rural midwest, I owe my early exposure to the arts to my late grandmother Patsy May Flowers. I never had an affinity for florals, But my style has found itself reminiscent of her last name echoing the floral stalks and petals found in nature. 

I am inspired by the almost-there; The power of suggestion abstract art can embody deeply moves me.
